The Southport Festival experience is in it’s variety. We have comedy, poetry, dance, spectacle and theatre. Why not plan in something totally different to your festival weekend and enjoy a whole new experience.
Southport Festival is brought together through collaboration and a united sense of wanting to bring art, culture and colour to Southport.
The festival is directed by a steering group of representatives from Southport BID, Sefton Council, Southport Contemporary Arts, The Atkinson and The SDC alongside passionate members of the local arts community.
Funded and resourced by Southport BID and Sefton Council the festival is now in its fourth year, having been emerged from the annual Arts Trail and Jazz Festival before it.
The festival wouldn’t of course be possible without the enthusiasm and participation of the brilliant businesses, partners and venues involved.
Our aims are to bring together communities, art forms and local talent and businesses to create a diverse festival that truly has something to offer everyone!
