Hunt is on for winners of the North West Business Masters 2018
Our quest to crown the winners across 12 categories of the North West Business Masters Awards 2018, sponsored by Convex Capital LLP, has begun.
The glitzy black-tie event takes place at the Midland Hotel in Manchester on Thursday, April 19, which may seem like a long time away, but the time to enter is now.
Judges this year will include the editor of TheBusinessDesk.com Alex Turner, managing director of marketing agency MC2 Claire Tennant, Lou Cordwell, the founder and chief executive of digital design studio MagneticNorth, Colin Shenton, the founder of workspace provider Ziferblat – the winner of the 2017 Innovation Award, and Paul Griffiths, chairman of The Monastery of St Francis & Gorton Trust, which runs The Monastery community facility at Gorton, Manchester.
There will also be a judge yet to be announced from headline sponsor Convex. Lloyds Bank will also sponsor the International Trade category.
The deadline for entries is 5pm on Friday, February 2, 2018.
Turner said: “Once again, businesses across the North West are proving themselves to be major players in the Northern Powerhouse as leaders in digital, technology, science, manufacturing, biotechnology and professional services.
“The event is also a fantastic opportunity for companies who have contributed so much to the thriving economy in the region to let their hair down and celebrate their amazing achievements.”
