Engineering group sees progress for Wirral site following new investment

A Bromborough engineering factory has undergone a £900,000 investment in new equipment and a move to a new factory unit.

ASG AMG Engineering is part of the wider ASG Group, a collection of eight aerospace companies across the UK, Germany and India, based in Stockport.

It specialises in the design, development, and production of aircraft parts, components, and systems and operates in various sectors, including defence, civil aviation, and space.

It boasts a combined workforce of more than 340 staff and group revenues in excess of $60m.

Investment at the Wirral site has enabled it to increase the size of its clean assembly facility, chemical cleaning, and welding processes.

With more than 40 years of experience in the sector, managing director Simon Kirkman said he is excited about the future of ASG AMF Engineering and the possibilities this investment brings to the company and its customers.
