Consumer goods group investing in NW site and recruitment over coming years
International baby care and hygiene goods maker, Procter and Gamble, is recruiting for 20 new staff in an expansion of its Manchester works.
The company behind brands such as Pampers, Fairy and Oral-B, is expanding capacity with the creation of new jobs within its 150+-strong team.
The expansion comes in the company’s 90th year in the city, which has been home to the production of more than 30 iconic P and G brands.
The company is committed to investing in the Trafford Park site over the next few years, upgrading facilities and implementing industry-leading automation technology to boost production capabilities.
The new roles range from entry-level to experienced technicians in power and control, operations, and more.
Manchester site leader, Lewis Middleton, said: “We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of innovation and are thrilled to welcome new talent to the P and G family as we grow and strive to be a force for growth and a force for good in Manchester.
“Our focus is on empowering our employees with the skills and support they need to excel and deliver the highest quality products to the families that rely on our products every day.
“This investment represents a bright future not only for our team but for the wider Manchester community”.

Beyond competitive salaries, P and G said it offers a comprehensive benefits package, significant career progression opportunities, and a supportive community environment.
