Role: Transport Manager

Location: West Midlands

Salary: £34,000 per annum

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Transport Manager will be responsible for effectively and continuously managing the transport activities on a daily basis, to ensure that all the workers are operating safely and compliantly.

3 years Fleet Management experience a neccessity.

·Transport Managers Qualification.

·The ability to supervise, coordinate and direct staff.

·To communicate effectively, both written and orally.

·Must hold a clean driving licence.

·Experience of driving large vehicles of 3.5 tonne is preferred.

·A good understanding of vehicle mechanics and defect rectification is essential.

·To maintain effective working relationships with the subordinate employees.
